CASE STUDY: SDK INTEGRATION

SwapNpay

Crypto Payments for Real-World Commerce

For payment platforms that want users to pay with any crypto on any of the 22+ supported networks, while the system automatically picks the best route for each transaction based on speed, cost, and reliability.

The Partner

SwapNpay bridges the gap between cryptocurrency users and real-world merchants. Users can pay with any supported cryptocurrency while merchants receive stablecoins directly on their chain of choice, avoiding volatility. The platform uses QR code-based payments, non-custodial wallets, and instant settlement, making crypto payments accessible for everyday commerce. SwapNpay is building the infrastructure to connect on-chain liquidity with real-world merchant acceptance.

The Challenge

SwapNpay's mission to make crypto payments practical for merchants runs into the same structural gaps:

1. Users hold crypto across many networks. But merchants expect settlement on one network in one stablecoin, creating a mismatch.

2. Converting user crypto to merchant settlement is heavy. Every swap and bridge adds complexity and cost to the payment flow.

3. No single aggregator is best for every route. Speed, cost, and reliability vary by transaction, so the system needs multiple sources competing fairly.

The Solution

SwapNpay is integrating SODAX as one aggregator in its R1 Router payment ecosystem, alongside other liquidity sources. The system automatically selects the best route for each transaction based on a speed, cost, and reliability matrix. The integration is built around these capabilities:

1

SODAX Added to the Aggregator Pool

SODAX joins SwapNpay's pool of liquidity aggregators. For each payment, the system compares routes and arbitrages across all available sources to pick the best one.

2

Non-Custodial Payment Architecture

SwapNpay integrates SODAX through the HTTP API, fitting the non-custodial payment model. SwapNpay's backend obtains the quote and prepares the transaction, while the customer retains control of their wallet and signs directly.

3

Separate Source and Destination Addresses

SODAX's architecture allows the source signing address and destination delivery address to remain separate, preserving SwapNpay's merchant settlement and payment-forwarding architecture while adding cross-chain liquidity.

At a glance

  • System arbitrages routes for speed, cost, reliability
  • Merchants receive stablecoins directly, no volatility
  • Non-custodial architecture, no fee for users

SwapNpay Results

1. Competitive Liquidity for Payment Flows

By adding SODAX to the aggregator pool, SwapNpay gains another source competing on speed, cost, and reliability, improving outcomes for merchants and users.

2. Arbitrage-Driven Route Selection

The system automatically picks the best route for each payment across all aggregators, ensuring no single provider's shortcomings limit the platform's performance.

3. Infrastructure Without Exclusivity

SwapNpay gains access to SODAX's cross-chain liquidity and solver infrastructure without replacing its existing aggregators or committing to a single provider.
