CASE STUDY: SDK INTEGRATION
SaucerSwap
Hedera's Leading DEX
For DEXs on a single network that want to offer cross-network swaps and onboard capital from any chain, so users can bring assets in, trade, and move out without leaving the app.
The Partner
SaucerSwap is the leading DEX on Hedera, with more than $6B in total trade volume. It offers instant swaps at predictable, USD-fixed fees, V1 and V2 liquidity pools, SAUCE staking with Hedera network rewards, on-chain governance, and ERC20 wrapping for broader DeFi compatibility. Built with a security-first approach, its contracts are audited by Hacken and Omniscia, and SaucerSwap Labs is a U.S.-based company and co-founder of the Hashgraph DeFi Alliance.
The Challenge
SaucerSwap leads activity on Hedera, but the same structural barriers face any DEX that wants to grow beyond a single chain:
1. A Hedera-native DEX cannot easily reach assets and users on other chains.
2. Bridges are risky and fragmented. Sending users to external bridges adds risk and drop-off before they ever trade.
3. Cross-chain reach is heavy to build. Connecting to many networks and bootstrapping liquidity on each is a large engineering and capital undertaking.
The Solution
SODAX gives SaucerSwap a path to cross-network reach without building the infrastructure itself. Through a single SDK integration, the DEX can extend beyond Hedera. The integration is designed around four capabilities:
1
Cross-Network Swaps via a Single Intent
Users express one intent, and SODAX handles cross-chain sourcing and settlement behind it, so a swap can span networks without the trader managing a bridge.
2
Onboard Capital from Any Network
SODAX lets SaucerSwap bring in capital from other chains, so users can fund their activity on Hedera with assets they already hold elsewhere.
3
Unified Liquidity, No Per-Network Pools
SaucerSwap can access SODAX's liquidity layer rather than funding and maintaining separate pools for each new network it wants to reach.
4
Built for Non-EVM & EVM Networks Alike
SODAX's cross-network execution supports EVM and non-EVM chains alike, meeting a Hedera-native DEX where it is rather than forcing an EVM-only model.

Quote
"Tokenized stocks and ETFs have been on our list for a long time, and earlier routes never had enough liquidity behind them to build a market on. SODAX changes that. The stock tokens come direct to Hedera, they stay connected to the home chain's liquidity instead of a thin local market, and Hedera was one of the first networks SODAX turned on for Robinhood stocks. The SDK is permissionless and light to integrate, so we can ship without a long integration cycle. Our interest was never generic cross-chain routing. It was RWAs, and SODAX is the first to put them on Hedera with deep liquidity."

SaucerSwap Results
1. Reach Beyond Hedera
With cross-network execution, SaucerSwap can serve users and liquidity from other chains without leaving its Hedera-native foundation.
2. Simplicity Through a Single Intent
Cross-chain sourcing and settlement collapse into one intent, so SaucerSwap can offer a cleaner swap experience without exposing users to bridging complexity.
3. Growth Without Per-Network Overhead
By tapping a shared liquidity layer instead of bootstrapping pools per chain, SaucerSwap can expand its reach at a fraction of the usual engineering and capital cost.
SODAX Integration
Foundation Layer
@sodax/sdk
This is the core logic that powers the entire ecosystem. It provides the raw functional modules required to build with SODAX programmatically.
Connection Layer
@sodax/wallet-sdk-react
An opinionated wrapper optimized for React applications, providing pre-built context providers and state management for wallet connections.
Experience: Layer
@sodax/dapp-kit
The fastest way to build with SODAX. This is an opinionated collection of UI components, hooks, and utilities that leverages the layers below it.
